The luxury Villa La Carraia is situated between olive groves, vineyards and cypress trees, in the countryside near the border between the regions Tuscany and Umbria.
From this exclusive accommodation, you can easily visit the picturesque Tuscan and Umbrian villages, including Orvieto, Cortona, Assisi, Gubbio, Spoleto, Montepulciano, Città delle Pieve and Todi. Also art cities as Rome, Florence, Siena, Arezzo and Perugia are at short distance from the villa. In Viterbo (35 km), you can relax in the spa hot springs “Terme dei Papi”. At only 20 minutes from La Carraia, the Bolsena lake (25 km) and the Corbara lake (20 km) offer excellent swimming and sailing facilities. Supermarkts can be found in Porano (3 km) and Orvieto Scalo. In Sutri (70 km), the famous golf club “Le Querce” offers some of the most beautiful greens in Italy.
Location:
Villa La Carraia is located just outside Porano, at a distance of 10 minutes by car from Orvieto. The property is surrounded by a beautiful garden of 2000 square meters with a private swimming pool (4.5 x 9.5 metres), table tennis and barbecue oven. From the garden you can enjoy panoramic views of the Apennine mountains and lake Corbara. The house is 130 square meters, very comfortable and fitted with all conveniences.
La Carraia is still active as a farm, producing excellent olive oil and wine which guests are able to purchase. Guests will receive a welcome glass of fine home produced wine in La Carraia's cellar.
